Creating measurable impact

  • CHALLENGE

The rise in electronic devices leads to high material and energy use, with over 80% of climate impact from production, as manufacturers prioritize new sales over repair or recycling.

  • SOLUTION

Supporting the circular economy: Customers pay for product usage, with renewal and repurchase options, backed by local bank partnerships for financing and process management.

  • IMPACT

Refurbished phones cut greenhouse gas emissions by 13.82 - 61 kg CO2-eq respectively. Since 2022, Fairown has saved more than 311 tons of CO2-eq.
