In the latest interview with VentureCapital Magazin, Angela Lawaldt explains why impact startups are currently operating under particularly demanding conditions: stricter regulatory requirements, rising expectations for transparency, and an overall more selective capital market environment.

For both investors and founding teams, it is therefore becoming increasingly important to clearly define and measurably demonstrate impact. Impact investing does not mean carrying an ESG label, but rather financing business models that are economically viable while addressing concrete social or environmental challenges.

What this means for the development of the market and for impact startups is discussed in the interview with VentureCapital Magazin.
