The Landbanking Group offers an online platform for the ecological assessment, monitoring, and recording of natural capital (e.g., carbon sequestration, soil water retention capacity, and biodiversity). This incentivises businesses and landowners to improve the natural services of their land, for example through the use of regenerative agriculture, and to implement effective nature conservation measures.

    One million animal and plant species worldwide are at risk of extinction, and the value of rural areas is being neglected. There are no structures or markets to make interests in nature and species conservation transparent and measurable.

  • SOLUTION

    TLG transforms natural services (e.g., carbon sequestration, water retention, and biodiversity) into transparent, investable, and tradable assets.

  • IMPACT

    The Landbanking Group has 30-40 clients with various property owners to improve CO2 and water storage capacity, biodiversity, and soil health. Combined, this results in more than 2 mio. hectares of land under management.
