Planeteers, a leading startup in the field of carbon capture and storage (CCS), announced today that it has successfully closed a significant seed financing round in the single-digit millions. In addition to further investments from existing investors, Smart Energy Innovationsfonds AG (a subsidiary of Energy 360Β° AG), ClimaNow, and BONVENTURE have joined the investor group.
Planeteers will use the funds to further develop its innovative technology for advanced ocean alkalization. This technology aims to efficiently remove COβ at point sources and produce mineralized water. The funding will enable the company to scale its operations, expand its team, and accelerate its market entry.
